With many years of executive recruitment experience gained at Norman Broadbent and Stanton Chase International, Phil has specialist knowledge of the Defence, Aerospace, Marine and Telecoms sectors. He has particular expertise in senior level recruitment for international businesses across these sectors and his experience spans all commercial and technical functions, including general management, finance, sales, marketing, IT and HR.

Phil’s career began in software development for British Aerospace and included several years based on site with the Royal Air Force during the introduction into service of the Tornado aircraft. After studying Computer Science at University College London, he moved into executive search and selection in 1990.

Email Judy Clayton

Judy has many years resourcing experience with a key focus on mid to senior level positions within the Process Engineering sector, working with some of the major Engineering, Procurement and Construction companies within the Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Water Treatment, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Renewable Energy industries throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Since joining WDI Selection over two years ago her main focus has been on successfully establishing herself within the Defence sector whilst maintaining her links within the world of Process Engineering.

Prior to moving into recruitment, Judy held a number of senior level positions in the Hotel and Catering Sectors including as a Contract Manager and Area Training and Development manager for the Royal Mail.

Email Silvia Cray

After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Kalmar in Sweden, Silvia moved to London and spent several years in Sales & Marketing within the travel industry. She travelled extensively and had responsibility for developing business across China, India and the emerging Asian markets.

She relocated to Lancashire in 2006 and since then has developed expertise as a specialist recruiter working across all functions within the defence, telecoms and broader technology sectors. Silvia has a strong interest in East European history and is fluent in Hungarian as well as the Scandinavian languages.

Email Zoe Ross

Zoe has worked in recruitment for over ten years and has extensive links with businesses across the North West. After working as a Business Development Manager within Financial services, the majority of her career has been spent in recruitment.

Zoe's industry experience is diverse and she has experience of recruiting for Engineering, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Media and Distribution companies to name a few. She has worked for large recruitment plcs and also headed up smaller independent organisations.

Zoe's experience has been derived from working closely with companies from a multitude of industry sectors and offering a consultative approach to providing staffing in all functions of a business including; Sales, Finance, Logistics and Purchasing.
